Remember Clorox 2 powder really whites antique lace, but can give it a bluish tint if the antique tatted piece of lace if left in the solution longer than the recommened time.  The pieces I have soaked in Clorox 2 look absolutely beautiful, just like a newly tatted piece of lace.</description>

		<description>Thanks for the idea on whitening antique lace.  I have a few pieces that need that.  I think the idea of putting lace on a sampler is an excellent way to display tatting.  So often tatting is not seen like it should be and what a perfect way to preserve it and let it be displayed beautifully.</description>
